Willow Rust Custom Furniture & Home Décor began in 2015 with a $5 table and a simple idea: to handcraft beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that bring people together.

Jenny, a mental health therapist, and Sarah, a cost analyst, picked up an old table at the World’s Longest Garage Sale on Route 127. Their plan was to refinish it but the lacquer wouldn’t budge. Instead of giving up, Sarah built a new tabletop from scrap wood in the garage. Jenny shared it online, and more than 200 people wanted one just like it. That unexpected spark became Willow Rust, a brand rooted in creativity, connection and grit; dedicated to creating custom furniture and home décor that tells a story and stands the test of time.

Why We Create

Growing up, the table was always the center of home where friends and family gathered, laughter and tears were shared, last minute school projects were completed and family recipes were passed down.  What started as a way to make ends meet soon became a purpose-driven business connecting with our community so they could forge their own memories at the table.

Each piece is created using sustainable materials (often locally sourced) and handcrafted by us in Ohio to make your vision a reality. Every table, board, artwork and item that leaves our hands carries part of our story and becomes part of yours.
